25 Suggestions for a Healthier Holiday Season

By John Graham

Being an Episcopal priest as well as a physician, I receive a monthly newsletter entitled Health & Wellness News — an effort to keep our clergy healthy. Their latest edition gives 25 helpful suggestions for a healtier holiday season. Here is what they said before giving the list: “As the 2011 holiday season begins, why not consider doing things a little differently this year? Take the time this year to be more aware of your body, mind, and spirit. Be more mindful of the gifts that live inside you, and the gifts of those around you. It’s a good time for us all to count our blessings.

In this edition of Health & Wellness News, we will offer some suggestions for a healthier, less stressful, and more meaningful holiday season. Sometimes, when we get caught up in the rush and bustle of the holidays, simple things are overlooked or missed or lost. Hopefully, these 25 suggestions will help remind us all of simpler times while helping us slow down enough to enjoy the blessings of the season, making the holidays more joyful and less stressful for you, your family, and your friends.” Click HERE to see 25 Suggestions for a healthier Holiday season.
