Building Community Resilience:
A Sacred Pause
Thursday, December 17th | 6:00 - 7:30 PM CT
Free of Charge | Hosted virtually via Zoom
Join us for an interfaith experiential workshop on togetherness, congregational support and self care for communities of faith in times of challenge and change.
It has been a challenging year. Given the immense need for togetherness, congregational support and self care for faith leaders and individuals of all faith traditions, you are invited to take A Sacred Pause and be a part of Building Community Resilience through your presence. As we enter the holidays and wrap up a tumultuous 2020, this experiential workshop is an opportunity to pause and reflect, to connect and honor the importance of our shared community. We will move, breathe, reflect, and dialogue, all towards cultivating resilience in mind, body, and spirit.
The workshop will feature Faith Foreman-Hays, Director of the Office of Chronic Disease, Health Education and Wellness at the Houston Health Department, to share about Houston’s Better Together campaign, which has been combatting COVID19 across the Greater Houston community. Inspired by the #bettertogether vision, we will practice mind-body skills, invaluable self care tools to promote health and resilience individually and collectively.
