Veteran’s Group for Mind-Body Resiliency
6-Week Group| Mondays, 10:00am-12:00pm beginning April 13
This 6-week series utilizes the principles of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine to reduce stress and cultivate balance. We will meet weekly online to engage in mind-body techniques that can be immediately integrated into daily life. The group will be educational, supportive, participatory and structured. Mind-body practices can help to reduce stress, increase self-awareness, stimulate creativity, develop effective coping skills, and cultivate emotional and mental balance.
Facilitated by: Charlene Fox, BA, LMT, CHTP is an experienced mind-body skills group facilitator trained by the Center for Mind Body Medicine. She is especially dedicated to sharing my enthusiasm for meditation and other mind-body techniques that help to foster balance and well-being. She has enjoyed sharing these techniques with veterans throughout the Houston community for the past 2 years.
