Mojisola Delano, MS, MPH
FaithHealth Project Coordinator
Mojisola (Moji) Delano is the FaithHealth Project Coordinator at the Institute. In this capacity, Moji leads the Institute’s Faith and Diabetes initiative within the broader framework of the Institute’s Cities for Better Health-Houston. Emphasizing the community's physical, spiritual, and emotional health by providing resources, tools, and networks, her leadership and community engagement efforts promote well-being and positive health outcomes through partnerships with faith organizations and public health partners across the Greater Houston Metropolitan Area. By advancing the Faith and Diabetes Initiative, Moji fosters relationships with the most at-risk and under-resourced communities in greater Houston. She joined the Institute in October 2021.
Before joining the Institute for Spirituality and Health, Moji worked as a project assistant and intern at the Health Care Improvement Foundation in Philadelphia, PA.
Moji earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Studies at the University of Texas at Dallas, a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Science at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a Master of Public Health degree from Thomas Jefferson University.
