Mind-Body Skills Group for Helping Professions
7 Weeks, Monday evenings 6:00-8:00pm
Begins June 1
The last few months have been unlike anything we have experienced. With all of the changes and questions, we are left to navigate big feelings and a sense of uncertainty. Join us for 7 weeks as we explore mind-body skills which are proven strategies to help reduce anxiety and increase calm and mental clarity. We will meet in a small group via Zoom meeting and follow a format of intentional breathing, checking in with each other, a brief informational talk about the science behind these skills, and an activity applying what we have learned. These skills are applicable beyond this group and can be used to calm the mind and body for ourselves in our daily lives.
