What is Via Colori® Houston?

Via Colori® Houston 2022 is a reimagined creative arts and cultural event drawing thousands of families, artists, and festival goers annually to join in the act of chalk painting in the streets. Via Colori means “color street” beckoning us to engage with the environment around us and to connect with our own sense of well-being as we celebrate art and artists.

It’s back! The Institute for Spirituality and Health has become the new beneficiary charity and welcomes sponsors, artists, volunteers and attendees to enjoy a weekend of fun, connection, and art.

Taking place at POST, the historic Barbara Jordan P. Post Office with a stunning downtown view, Via Colori® Houston will feature Via Bambini - an art wonderland for kids, youth artists, and chalk artists at every level. All are welcome!

The focal point of the festival is to showcase artists of all levels as they create chalk art pieces inspired by and in support of the mission of The Institute for Spirituality and Health at the Texas Medical Center.
