The ISCC is an emergent alliance among Houston area faith communities and nonprofits to serve individuals with inadequate spiritual resources. This may include homebound individuals and those in healthcare facilities without formalized spiritual care resources.

During this training, you will learn:

• how to support individuals who are in need of spiritual care

• specialized training applicable to all faith traditions

• how to be a genuine listener, gently and assertively offering yourself as a spiritual sojourner
