OUR SPEAKER:

Father Nathan Castle

Father Nathan Castle, O.P., is a Catholic priest who helps those who feel "stuck" - whether in this life or in the process of crossing over - to experience freedom. In his experience, victims of fires, automobile accidents, shootings, stabbings, drownings, and suicides come to him in his dreams seeking help to resolve their Interrupted Death Experiences. He discusses this mission and process in his took books, Afterlife, Interrupted (Books 1 and 2): Helping Stuck Souls Cross Over. He is also author of And Toto, Too: The Wizard of Oz as a Spiritual Adventure, and has more recently come to liken the timeless story of Dorothy and Toto to a Near-Death Experience.

Father Nathan Castle, O.P. is from Groves, Texas. Father Nathan received MA and MDiv degrees from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. He served in campus ministries at Arizona State University, Stanford, and UC Riverside. Father Nathan has chaired the Executive Board of the Catholic Campus Ministry Association (CCMA).

Houston IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies) at the Texas Medical Center serves as a safe space to support those who have had a near-death experience as they integrate their experience into their lives. Houston IANDS also serves to inform the public about NDEs and the lessons and messages that experiencers bring back, and to educate the medical community to recognize and appropriately treat people who have had an NDE.
