The McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics and Inprint

Become a Writing Fellow

ABOUT:
This class will inform, expand, and challenge you to think about what constitutes creative work and will help you develop a writing practice you can maintain in the long run.

You will learn the methods and craft behind creating literary fiction, non-fiction, and poetry to apply to your own creative works. Note the focus of this program is not for scientific writing (e.g., journal articles, grants, etc.).

SESSIONS:
October 2024 - May 2025
Second Wednesdays each month at McGovern Medical School
5:30 PM to 8:30 PM

HOW TO APPLY:
Send a brief note explaining why you'd like to take this course. A brief writing sample is strongly encouraged, but optional. The sample should be creative writing (e.g., poetry, memoir, fiction, etc.).

Also, please indicate whether you have a work-in-progress already and what month you would be ready to workshop your writing.
