description
The Caring Heart Celebration and Auction is a time to highlight the mission of ISH by honoring those who embody its values.
Beginning February 11th, we will kick off the two week-long celebration, which will consist of a virtual auction and recognition of those who have served on the frontlines during the coronavirus pandemic. Each day of the first week, the Rabbi Samuel E. Karff Caring Heart Award will be awarded to essential and frontline workers in the following professions:
Retail - February 11
Hospitality - February 12
Food Service - February 13
First Response - February 14
Education - February 15
Healthcare - February 16
Nursing - February 17
Spiritual Care - February 18
To follow along during the week, find ISH on Facebook and Instagram, or sign up for our mailing list.
The capstone event, the Caring Heart Celebration, featuring author and humorist, Louise Parsley, will be held virtually via live-stream on February 25, at 7:00pm CST.
By viewing (and bidding on!) items in the auction through the week, you will learn about our Institute's mission in the Texas Medical Center - to enhance well being by exploring the relationship between spirituality and health. This event is a powerful reminder of the work being done in our community to increase the presence of spirituality in all aspects of life, especially in times of difficulty.
We hope that you will consider joining us – it is sure to uplift and inspire.
